Trumbull Republican Town Committee is committed to giving back to the community

(Trumbull, CT)- The Trumbull Republican Town Committee came out in support of the Trumbull Community Womens' "Tidy up Trumbull Day" on Saturday, May 1st. TRTC Chairman Jack Testani articulated his vision of getting the Trumbull Republican Town Committee more involved in the community in his March election speech and the TRTC responded, sending over a dozen volunteers to various locations in Trumbull.

As Jack stated in his speech, "We need to get out in the community and continue to make a positive difference", and the TRTC team focused on the Reservoir Avenue area where people come into Trumbull from Bridgeport. "We wanted to give people entering Trumbull a clean and welcoming look", said Testani. In addition to TRTC members, First Selectman Tim Herbst joined the team as well, helping to clean up the areas around the Welcome to Trumbull sign. The group continued by cleaning the area near Henderson Lumber including under the Route 25 overpass on Reservoir Avenue.

"We are focused on continuing to ensure that Trumbull is a better place to live, work and play", said Testani. "Participating in Tidy up Trumbull is just a small way that the Trumbull Republican Town Committee can support our vision", he concluded.
