David Pia and Mark Smith, Republican Candidates for 22nd District State Senate Seat to Debate on March 13th.

(Trumbull, CT)- Joining together, the Republican Town Committee's of Bridgeport, Trumbull and Monroe are sponsoring a debate between the Republican Candidates for the 22nd District State Senate. David Pia and Mark Smith, both Trumbull residents are seeking to unseat state Sen. Anthony Musto in the November election.

"This is a very exciting contest and we are pleased to have two outstanding candidates such as Mark and David seeking to serve our the residents of the 22nd district and our state", said Jack Testani, Chairman of the Trumbull Republican Town Committee. "Both candidates have unique ideas about how to improve the quality of life for all residents of the area and will bring a fresh perspective to the State Capitol", continued Testani. "We encourage all residents of the 22nd district to attend to hear from the candidates"

The debate is scheduled for Saturday, March 13th from 9:30 am – 11:30 am and will be held at the Trumbull Library, located at 33 Quality Street in Trumbull, CT. The State Senate 22nd District covers Trumbull, parts of Monroe and parts of Bridgeport.
