(Trumbull, CT) - Prominent GOP candidates, including US Representative candidate Dan Dibecella, Lt. Governor candidate Lisa Wilson-Foley, State Senate candidate Elaine Hammers, State Representatives T.R. Trumbull First Selectman, Tim Herbst, commented "We are very pleased that our national, state and local Republicans came out in support of the TRTC to play in our tournament" "The Trumbull Republicans have worked diligently over the past 4 years to make a difference in Trumbull and the success of our Golf Tournament is just another sign that we are accomplishing our objective. The significant changes we have made in Trumbull are being noticed on the state and national level", continued Herbst.
70 golfers played in the tournament under sunny, warm skies, with many others joining them for lunch, raffles and awards. "We put Jack Testani in charge of the weather this year", stated Herbst. "And as usual, Jack delivered a sunny and beautiful day for all participants to enjoy", laughed Herbst.
